MAIN CHARACTER SUMMARIES

Randy Palmer – Age 43, handsome devoted father who is both analytical and creative. Was Army photographer in Vietnam, has no college degree, and works for a public relations firm near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
Linda Palmer – Randy's wife, 40's, athletic build, aggressive real estate agent who is not rally much into her husband anymore.
Marie Palmer – Typical 13 year-old daughter on the threshold of adolescence who loves her dad.
Jeffery Palmer – Randy and Linda's 10 year-old son, active and inquisitive.
Susan Shepherd – Late 30's, married, slender with great legs, with strict Catholic morals. Susan works part time in downtown Baltimore and is the perfect soul mate for Randy. Ron Barnett - Randy's work partner who is creative and gay. Fred Price - Randy's long-time African-American lawyer friend who has been divorced many years. His wife has had his teen-age son, Marcus, in Saint Louis for many years because of a job transfer.
Kristy Arnold – Young and attractive interior design graduate who is assigned to work with Randy on the project to find a use for the Power Plant at the Inner Harbor.
Sharon Patterson – Ambitious project manager who is competing with Randy for a promotion at JPW. Herb – African-American aerobics instructor who owns a bowling alley and takes an interest in Linda Palmer.
Wally Jenkins – Senior partner of Randy's employer, JWP, a public relations firm located at the Inner Harbor.
Dr. Karen Leister – Randy's therapist.
Mrs. Riddell – Randy's community college art teacher. Jennifer – Young student in Randy's art class.
Louise Maxwell – Susan's sister, who has an "open" marriage.
Edward Maxwell – Louise's cross-dressing husband.
Ellen Salters – Very cool and sexy lady from New Orleans that Randy meets at local rock and roll club after a Bar Mitzvah photography gig.
Dr. Lorton - Susan's rehabilitation doctor after her lower legs are crushed in an automobile accident
