I found this book to be a suspenseful, compelling turn pager with an unexpected, happy ending.
When I read a good fiction book from start to finish in one setting, it's like watching a good movie. That's exactly what reading this book was about for me. I read it in two hours nonstop.
I loved the characters and could identify with them; they were very human. The characters dealt with the same issues in relationships, career that real people at midlife have to deal with. After I finished reading the book, I thought of the book characters, their activities, issues and the ending off and on for the rest of the day. These thoughts made me feel good about having read the book and that one's life can turn out well even with the hardships that life brings.
I definitely recommend the book as a terrific read and I'd definitely see the movie if it were made into one.
